Reminders for Members (updated 26 January 2010)
- We will be setting up the Town Hall VA3EOA station this Sunday. Check for
a confirming e-mail soon.
- Basic Course fees ($65) are due ASAP. Cheques payable to Atikokan Amateur
Radio Club.
- 2010 dues are due ASAP. Dues are $25 per person, or $10 for out of town
frequent repeater users.

Recent
Club Events
On 5 December 2009, six hardy club members braved -20 degree weather to work
on the repeater tower. Warren VE3FYN climbed, while Vic VE3AKX, Jason VE3PEJ,
Paul VA3JSV, George, and Margaret, worked as ground crew (mostly retrieving
gloves that fell off the tower). A four-bay folded dipole no longer in use was
removed to be installed at the Town Hall VA3EOA station. Also a feedline (loaned
from Vic) was raised and connected to the beam antenna that will be used for
the Upsala link.
